Seven Lochs Green Gym

We have a new Green Gym runing at various sites accross the park on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Green Gyms are for volunteers who want to get active and work to protect their local environment. The sessions are shorter than our Friday conservation sessions; running from 12.30pm - 3.30pm. The Green Gym is aimed at volunteers aged 16-24 and those who may have additional support needs.

North Lanarkshire Volunteer Day
Friday 24th November 2017 at Drumpellier Country Park

Today we will be working working with the North Lanarkshire Countryside Rangers on conservation tasks.

Meet at 10am at Drumpellier visitor centre or 9.50am at the Easterhouse bus terminus. 

Family Explorer Walk
Saturday 25th November 2017 at Cardowan Moss local nature reserve

Come along for some creative play on our final family explorer walk of 2017. We will explore Cardowan Moss local nature reserve before getting creative using a range of materials to make dens, assault courses and more! Please bring a picnic lunch.

11am to 2pm. Meet Sunnyside Primary School, G33 5LA.

Big Bird Bus Tour
Saturday 25th November 2017 at Hogganfield Park

Join Glasgow City Council Rangers and Seven Lochs staff for this annual guided tour of the amazing wetland sites in and around Glasgow. You will get the chance to see some of the wonderful winter visitors to Glasgow's wild places. 

10am - 2pm. Meet at the main car park at Hogganfield Loch, Cumbernauld Rd, G33 1AH.

2017 Volunteer Celebration
Friday 15th December 2017 at Drumpellier Country Park

Our final session of 2017 is for existing volunteers only. We will be celebrating the hard work the group has put in throughout the year with a festive feast.
