Seven Lochs Green Gym

We have a new Green Gym runing at various sites accross the park on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Green Gyms are for volunteers who want to get active and work to protect their local environment. The sessions are shorter than our Friday conservation sessions; running from 12.30pm - 3.30pm. The Green Gym is aimed at volunteers aged 16-24 and those who may have additional support needs.

Pond Creation
Friday 22nd September 2017 at Hogganfield Park LNR

Today we will be digging a shallow pond in the park to create new habitat for invertibrates such a dragonfly.

Please meet at 10am at the car park beside the loch, off Cumbernauld Road.

Wild flower planting

Crannog Crafts
Saturday 30th September 2017 at Drumpellier Country Park

Iron Age people of Britain celebrated the start of the harvest season around the 1st of August with the Lughnasa festival feast. In our harvest season workshop you can learn all about what food and drink would have been on Iron Age people's plates.           

1pm - 3pm at Drumpellier Country Park. Meet at the visitor centre, ML5 1RX
